Meet D'Lisa Shayn, Owner - Esthetician
D’Lisa Shayn began her career in 2002 and attended the Oregon Institute of Aesthetics. Her first job was at Destination Laguna in Las Vegas, from there she moved back to Phoenix, her home since 1989.
In 2008 she opened her first Salon D’ Shayn location in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Five years later she opened another location near downtown Phoenix.
In 2017 she consolidated both locations into one at The Muse, a luxury apartment complex across from the Phoenix Art Museum on Central and McDowell.
While she is know throughout the Valley for her speed waxing expertise and less painful Brazilians, top quality skin care is also her passion. She offers a wide range of services from custom blended facials to clinical peels, plasma fibroblast and RF Microneedling treatments. Officially licensed provider of The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peeling System in Phoenix.

She uses a variety of color lines, products, and attends ongoing educational classes to continue her evolution as an artist. Vanessa is talented and always dedicated to blowing your mind with her professional and highly personalized services to all of her clients.
Lydia Martinez, Hair stylist
Lydia is a talented, creative Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist with over 6 years of experience including bridal hair and makeup. She produces creative, technically accurate visual representations; ensuring clientele, models, performers, and presenters have suitable make-up and hairstyles before they appear in front of cameras or an audience.
I have a passion for helping people build confidence by feeling good about themselves both inside and out. I have a strong desire to constantly learn and enjoy connecting to build lasting relationships with people.
Lydia is featured RAW artist and loves bringing artistic and creative talents from all industries together to connect, get exposure and showcase work. She loves creating a supportive culture for people in the industry to work together.
Bret Thomas , Hair stylist
Bret has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2008. He is a Balayage artist who excels at natural-looking colors and highlights and is known for precision cuts for both men and women.
He is dedicated to pursuing excellence in the art of hair design through ongoing education and training.

Bao Do, Hair stylist
Bao has been practicing hairdressing on men and women since 2005. He excels in precision cutting while creating natural-looking hair color and multi-dimensional highlights. His unique talents include balayage, baby lights, strand lights, fashion colors, color correction, Malibu-c makeovers, and Brazilian Blowouts.
Bao is Babe’s hair extension certified and offers I-tip, Flat-tip, tape-in, fusion, and micro fusion.
Bao’s clients benefit from his extensive training from many leading hairdressers professionals and organizations.
He is constantly improving his craft through continuing education and by incorporating the latest products and technologies in the industry.
Elizabeth Papineau, Hair stylist
Elizabeth graduated from Cosmetology school back in 2009. Throughout her 11 years behind the chair, she has invested in the continuing education of current hair color trends, cutting, extensions, and product knowledge. She is certified in Dreamcatcher hair extensions, whether they be I-tips or tape-ins.
Her specialties include blonding with foliage or highlights, precision haircuts, and specialty events. Along with also specializing in Keratin smoothening treatments. Elizabeth places a high value on listening, consulting, and respecting her clients’ needs. She will personally educate you about how to style your hair and recommend professional hair care products you may need to get that salon hair you want at home. Elizabeth has also been known to give the best shampoo scalp massage in town!
Any free time she has, she typically spends with her three fur babies, yoga and traveling.
Candis Rachelle Allyn, Hair stylist
I have been doing hair professionally for over a decade and a half. Whether it’s a client of many years or a first-time consultation I pride myself on always delivering above and beyond expectations.
I thrive on enhancing everyone’s beauty by fully utilizing natural tones to funky fashion shades, from the edgy pixie cut or too lengthy-long locks, no cut color or design is off the table when you sit in my chair.

I sold my salon right before Covid, and have spent the last couple years enjoying “the suite life”, but I am so thrilled to be back in a multi chair salon alongside some seriously talented folks!

With over 15 years of experience, I have honed my skills in cutting, coloring, and styling hair to personalized perfection. I love alliteration.
My goal is to create the hair that you both love and can style the next day. I don't offer gendered appointments (i.e. no women's or men's style/cut/color). I will create your personal hair style, color, and cut based on what you want to look like without taking gender into consideration.

I am a second generation hairdresser, born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.
With a passion for the art of hairstyling, I have been working in this industry since 2010. Continuously striving to stay updated with the latest trends and techniques, I actively participate in educational courses to enhance my skills in cutting and coloring. My expertise encompasses a wide range of styles, from effortless and natural looks to creative and edgy designs.

Nicole Colbe, Massage therapist
Hi there! I am Nicole. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2012. My massage style is more on the therapeutic/deep tissue side and I especially enjoy working on injuries. Other modalities I specialize in include: cupping, myofascial therapy, aromatherapy, hot stones, prenatal, assisted stretching, sports massage and many more! I am actively learning new modalities to further my knowledge and education as a massage therapist.
Leticia Perez, Nail Tech
Leticia is a nail tech with 10 years experience who specializes in gel manicures & pedicures. She has always had a passion for anything beauty-related from skincare to make up & nails! She worked as care provider for individuals with disabilities for many years until the time was right to go back to school and learn about what she had always wanted to do.
She first enrolled in an esthetics program to learn more about makeup application and techniques then became licensed in December 2011. A few months later she enrolled into Nail logic institute School of nail technology and became a licensed nail tech in December of 2012.
Leticia is also conscious that continuing education is very important to be able to offer the best service possible and learn about new trends. She plans to attend as many classes when possible, therefore continuing education is, and will be her priority for years to come.
