How Peels Work

Process
In order to achieve the best results with this peel, most people require two to three Skin Renewal Peels.
Your healing process will be monitored and guided by your skin care professional from start to finish.
One annual maintenance peeling is recommended thereafter to maintain a fresh, smooth, glowing and problem-free complexion.
How Will I look During the Peeling Process?
Day 1
You can expect your skin to appear red after your first application, but not unsightly.
Day 2
A second application of the peel is applied to the skin.
Day 3
The skin takes on a brownish tinge. It looks like a skier who has forgotten to protect themselves from the sun and ended up with severe sunburn. While a sunburn destroys the skin, our peeling treatment restores it.
Day 4
The skin will have become brownish and by the fourth day will be the darkest it will get before peeling. Some skin may have begun to peel by now.
Day 5
Peeling of the skin will be occurring now, but it is important to allow it to happen naturally. You may be tempted to speed up the process by removing pieces of peeling skin, but you must resist and allow it to fall off on its own.
Day 6
The skin that hasn’t peeled off completely is carefully removed by a therapist in a sterile environment. In this controlled and safe environment, your skin will never be raw and exposed. As there is no destruction to the living cells, you can expect a brand new, smooth, glowing complexion.
- Day 1 2-hour peel. Day 2 (next day) 2-hour peel. Day 7 Cleansing, removal of any remaining peeling skin and an LED treatment with a mixture of custom blended oils and serums.
