Plasma Fibroblast

Tighten, Smooth, and Refresh-Without Surgery

Our precision plasma fibroblast “spray method” stimulates collagen to firm skin on eyes, face, neck, and more.

BOOK CONSULTATION

What is Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma fibroblast is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that creates controlled micro-injuries on the surface of the skin. This sparks fibroblast activity in the deeper layer and encourages new collagen for a firmer, smoother look. It’s commonly used around the eyes, jawline, neck, and on scars or crepey skin, with a typical downtime of about a week.

Our Method (Why we use the “spray” technique)

Many providers use a visible “dot pattern.” We specialize in a cross-hatch spray technique that resurfaces more evenly and is less visibly dotted during healing.

For full-face, we split treatment across two sessions on back-to-back days for comfort and optimal control.

This approach is especially appreciated by mature clients who want subtle healing visibility and a smoother finish.

What to Expect

  • Time: 15–75 minutes per area. Full face is over 2 days.
  • Numbing: Topical anesthetic is applied before treatment.
  • Immediately after: Redness and a grid of tiny scabs.
  • Downtime: 5–7 days for most areas. Eyes can swell for 1–2 days and may appear puffy.
  • Results: Skin feels tighter as it heals; improvements continue for weeks as collagen remodels.
  • Sessions: Many clients are happy after one session; more pronounced laxity or heavy lids may need multiple sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at hello@salondshayn.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No. No cutting or stitches. It’s minimally invasive with controlled surface injury.

A unique plasma, ionized gas passes between the edge of the fibroblast tool and the patient’s skin allowing the area to tighten and retract. Tissue targeted by the fibroblast treatment sublimate, therefore no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. Since this is a non-invasive procedure, you can expect to resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.Eventually, excess skin dries off to form tiny crusts that fall off like dandruff in just a few days. New collagen stimulated by the fibroblasts will begin forming immediately and continue to produce additional collagen for up to six months.

Fibroblast skin tightening treats a number of imperfections without cutting the skin including:

  • Eyelid Tightening, including lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.
  • Skin imperfections, including skin tags and sunspots.
  • Improvement in the appearance of acne scars
  • Diminishing Stretch marks.
  • Tightening loose stomach skin after pregnancy.
  • Lines and wrinkles around the mouth.
  • Plasma Facelift and  Plasma Necklift.

Yes, it is.There is no cutting of the skin, stitches, thinning of the skin, or general anesthetic. This is a very low-risk procedure with far less recovery time than traditional surgical lifts at a significantly lower cost.

Plasma fibroblast isn’t right for everyone. Do not treat, or get medical clearance first, if any of these apply:

Absolute no

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Active infection, open wound, or cold sore in the treatment area.
  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring.
  • Oral isotretinoin use within the past 6 months.
  • Uncontrolled bleeding disorder or on blood thinners that cannot be paused per physician advice.

Use caution or get clearance

  • Immunosuppression, active cancer treatment, or significant systemic illness.
  • Diabetes that is poorly controlled or delayed wound healing.
  • Autoimmune skin disease or dermatitis/eczema/psoriasis in the treatment area.
  • Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin tones or history of melasma/PIH. Consider a patch test or alternative options due to higher pigment-change risk.
  • Recent procedures in the area: wait at least 2–4 weeks after neuromodulators/fillers and until fully healed after surgeries or LASIK.
  • Recent procedures in the area: wait at least 2–4 weeks after neuromodulators/fillers and until fully healed after surgeries or LASIK.
  • Pacemaker or implanted electronic devices: discuss device specifics and risks before proceeding.
  • Epilepsy or uncontrolled hypertension; evaluate case by case.

We’ll review your health history during your consult and may recommend a patch test or alternative treatments. Individual results vary.

When performed correctly and aftercare is followed, visible scarring is uncommon, but risk exists, especially if picking occurs or in high-risk skin.

Yes, but expect temporary swelling

Some plasma devices have specific FDA 510(k) clearances for lesion destruction. That is different from a broad approval for “skin tightening.” We avoid device-claim language and focus on results and safety.
